How can I register for the Show?
In an effort to reduce our environmental impact you can register for our event by following the directions on the Registration Form. You may not register by telephone.

What is the cost of admission?
The Show is FREE to qualified attendees and employees of firms using or reselling fabrics for business.

Why do you need my business license or EIN number?
Because there is no charge for admission, we need to be able to prove that attendees are licensed to do business; we are not allowing the general public to attend as this is a wholesale trade show.

Can students attend?
Instructors and their students are welcome to walk the Seattle International Textile Expo by appointment.  Faculty must accompany students at all times.  There is a $10 non-refundable fee per student.  Please contact Danny@showsnorthwest.com to schedule an appointment.

Do I need to register separately for each day of the Show?
No! You need register only once to attend both days- however, please save your name badge.

Can I bring members of my family to the Show?
Only if they are over age 15. Infants and children under 15 are not allowed into the Show.  Guests other than spouses and children are subject to a $20 non-refundable fee.  Guests must be accompanied by a registered buyer with a badge. Visit the Registration counter for a Visitor badge.

How do I find the Show?
The show is located at the Red Lion on Fifth Avenue in Downtown Seattle.  Visit the Hotel page for more information.

Is food service available at the Show?
There are many wonderful dining opportunities at the Red Lion, and in the surrounding buildings.  The City Center building across Fifth Avenue has several Starbucks, and other food kiosks.  Snacks and beverages may be provided by the show as budget allows.

What about parking?
Parking is available at the Red Lion Hotel Fifth Avenue, City Center Building (Garage enterance on 6th and Union), Pacific Place Shopping Center, and limited street parking.

I am coming from out of town. What hotels or motels are nearby?
Below is the link for you to reserve rooms online at the special show rate of $149 per night for single/double occupancy.  You may also contact our in-house reservation agents to book their rooms at 855-515-1144 (toll free). They are open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-9:00pm and Saturday-Sunday from 8:00am-6:00pm.

Do you have the dates for future Shows?
The show is held twice annually, once in the spring and again in the fall.  Check the site regularly, or register for email updates.

What about product minimums?
Minimums are set by the manufacturers and listed in the show directory you will receive on site.  Both Shows Northwest LLC and its Exhibitors have little, or no influence over these minimums.

What recommendations do you have for first time visitors to the Show?
Here are some tips:

  • Register early to obtain a pre-printed name badge on the day you arrive
  • Wear confortable walking shoes
  • Allow adequate time to see all exhibitors
  • Be sure to see all exhibitors so you will know what is being offered
